ABOUT ME

My name is Silvia, I was born in Vigevano, near Milan…

Passionate traveler, nature and foreign languages lover, I enjoy meeting people and living unique experiences. My first love was volleyball, a sport I practiced for years that taught me the value of teamwork and collaboration.

Playing volleyball helped me cultivate a natural talent for teamwork and collaborative project sharing. After spending nearly 30 years in Vigevano, always engaging with the public, I made the decision to move to London for four months of study and work. Following various work experiences, I eventually opened a clothing shop in Casale Monferrato, in Piedmont region, in 2012.

My first trip to the United States in 2015 was a significant turning point. In 2019, I closed the shop, feeling that it was time to change my life and follow my passions.

Today, I am an environmental hiking guide and a certified tour leader with language skills in English and Spanish.

Why the name “Hiking Taste”? For two reasons: the first is the pleasure, the taste of hiking, walking, and slowly savoring the hike, the territory, nature, and the journey itself; the second concerns the “taste of tasting“, whether it’s wine, hazelnuts, or other local products, enjoying the convivial moment.

I organize GUIDED HIKES in nature, promoting slow and sustainable tourism. My themed hikes are enriched with storytelling and can be scheduled on the calendar or organized privately upon request for individuals, couples, families, groups, companies (team building or meetings), or future spouses (bachelor/bachelorette parties). The hikes can also include activities such as treasure hunts or escape game trekking.

I offer incoming and outgoing TOUR LEADER services, guiding you on trips or multi-day walks or treks.

Upon request, I design tailor-made (one-day or multi-day) routes or itineraries, both in the beautiful territory of Monferrato UNESCO and Langhe UNESCO, as well as in some foreign destinations, providing a complete travel design service to create unique and customized travel experiences, both in Italy and abroad.
